Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has opined that his upcoming film ‘Prince’, which would be released in 120 cinema halls across the country in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions on the same day next Friday, is an action film which would be ‘second to none’ when it comes to quality in technology and in the making.
Vivek was addressing media-persons along with technicians who had worked for the film at Chennai’s Sathyam Cinemas on Monday. When asked about the movie, the Bollywood star said, “It’s an unforgettable experience for me to have worked in the film with upcoming and leading technicians in all departments of film-making. This could also be the first Indian movie to release worldwide with an acceptable quality and international standard.”
He spoke with a sense of satisfaction when asked about the stunts in the film. “I have performed the taxing and tough fight sequences on my own without making use of the ‘duplicate’. The fight sequences filmed in a 32-storeyed building in South Africa and another sequence where I was made to hang upside down from a moving helicopter while fighting were simply the most pleasurable moments of my life!”
On Tamil films and stars, he said that he likes Trisha for her beautiful smile and stunning looks. “I have done Maniratnam’s ‘Yuva’ in Hindi opposite Kareena, the role which Trisha did in the Tamil version. I’m quite happy that she’s on the verge of making her Bollywood debut”.
